Inventory the questions first
List the repeated business questions and decisions before selecting connectors. This prevents a broad ingestion project with no operational target.
System design
The system connects a business question to approved evidence, applies role and policy controls, and completes an allowed action with a visible audit trail.
Knowledge connection
A contract, CRM field, meeting note, and policy document have different owners and different levels of authority. The connection model should preserve that context.
List the repeated business questions and decisions before selecting connectors. This prevents a broad ingestion project with no operational target.
For each fact type, record the primary source, supporting sources, owner, freshness expectation, and conflict rule.
The system should query and present only information that the requesting person is permitted to use for that task.
Answer production
The user needs enough evidence to judge the answer without reading every source from the beginning.
Use the question, role, client, case, or operational entity to find a small set of records from approved sources.
Prefer the designated source, flag stale material, and stop when contradictory records cannot be safely resolved.
Cite consequential claims, distinguish observed facts from interpretation, and state what is missing when the answer is incomplete.
Workflow completion
The system proposes or completes action according to impact, user role, policy threshold, and current evidence.
Create a specific proposed change such as a CRM update, extension request, client email draft, or internal task.
Low-risk routine work may proceed within limits. Financial, contractual, personnel, and unusual actions should reach the responsible reviewer.
Confirm the target system accepted the change, attach its identifier, and preserve the full route from evidence to outcome.
Readiness assessment
Score your sources, access rules, decision process, and workflow readiness. You will get a practical recommendation, not a generic maturity grade.
